Oh… So that’s why M$ Vista is crap - because of those naughty OEM guys who install these strange, no-good applications which make your PC slow, change Control Panel to a non-usable, where-is-that-important-function thing.
Technical stuff about Operating Systems is sometimes hard to digest (and discuss), but things like usability and overall performance can be seen with naked eye… And who they are trying to convince that their new system is better? Of course - it’s a step forward, but instead of tweaking the shell and some parts of the kernel (I know it’s not monolithic kernel, but still…) I would rather see a complete rewrite of the important subsystems, new kernel and some decent, minimalistic GUI instead of bloatedware that was served to the customers.
No wonder that Intel is not going to switch from XP to Vista - they just want to wait til Win7 arrives. Simple (and cost effective)
