Yesterday at work I had an idea - that combining mail client with calendar and jabber (or in general IM) client in app seems to be quite interesting. All of the functionalities (more or less) depend on keeping in touch with people - so why not to combine them? It would allow to have a single contact list, instantly add informations about meetings etc. Plus - you need only one app in memory.
Since I’m using Mozilla’s Thunderbird - the task was quite easy: get calendar extension(don’t forget about Google Provider if you wan’t and SamePlace extensions :) Install, configure and here you go - multi communicational power app.
